доброй ночи всем. Ну колы вже я "цыфровую" систему до ума доведу ,а то уже винил начинает тревожить ум... особенно когда на нем есть такие интересные вещи как синглы от Eskmo(WARP)
мне как то больше кажеться что это такой мягкий, ритмичный идм...)
Однозначно самый хороший их альбом, и в целом один из очень зачетных электронных!!!
Всячески присоединяюсь к рекомендации!!!
Ian Simmonds aka Juryman

Ian Simmonds
Profile:
As producer, musician and DJ, Ian Simmonds stands for the cultural bridging of emotionally driven sound aesthetics from the most diverse components of recent music movements. It all began at the beginning of the 90’s as a member of the legendary crew The Sandals. There direction was primarily a clubbed mix between Trip Hop, Acid Jazz, and Downbeat.
As he was on his way exploring the depths within sound, self titled as well as under the alias Juryman he was quite prolific in filling a basket of increasingly trailblazing albums, 12 “s and remixes for labels such as Studio! K7, NTone, CSSR, Pussyfoot, Compost, G-Stone etc., which belongs to wide plane of timeless electronic sound visions. Today the Welshman has hung his hat in the contemplative Jena where freshly fashioned jazz poetry project titled ‘Wise in Time’ with various musicians is able to thrive. The first album “The Ballad of Den the Men” is driven by everything those harmony-addicted shed tears for and feel passionate joy about. On the FAT sub-label Musik Krause he shines with 2 EP’s. As it stands there is abundant blood pumping through the heart of the Rave maltreated body to provide to transport the listening. His DJ-sets are fashioned by an industrial depth, which drives those willing to move with stylistic varieties into the endlessness of existence. Dub, Downbeat, NuJazz, Broken Beat to House, Detroit, Techno without category limitations such like minimal or electro period, the evening progresses to a movement marathon with a stunning euphoria bomb. Somehow different, knowing, adventurous, more observant than much of today’s current prospects seem to creep about behind his style. A man – much jazz, much tradition, much rhythm, very new to exhilaration! http://www.discogs.com
тот факт что они работали и сотрудничали с Хоспитал , Горизонт мьюзик и Миталхедз не могло не отразится на их работах. Ромыч извини , "карма" не позволяет добавить тебе заслуженный ПЛЮС .

Calyx – No Turning Back
Larry Cons
Profile:
London-based jungle/drum 'n' bass production team Calyx begun as guitarist Larry Cons, who previously led a jazz-funk band called Octane, and former drummer Chris Rush. The two met at Oxford Brookes University before starting work together and launching their own recording studio in Streaham, South London.
Calyx debuted in early-1998 with 'Cubic.' - Which was also the first release on Moving Shadow's sister label Audio Couture. They then followed it up with the massive 'Techtonic' which made it into the Top 20 in the CIN Dance Single charts.
They then went on to release further successes such as 'Double Zero/The Root', 'Megalomania/Whole Tone', 'Morphology/Schitzoid' (on Doc Scott's legendary 31 Records) and 'Distopia/Octane' - which even gained airplay on MTV.
Fast forward to 2000, and after the 'Catapult EP' Chris Rush decided to leave the duo to pursue a career not in music, and as such Larry Cons has been carrying the Calyx moniker forward solo since Chris left.
Since that time, Larry has enjoyed even larger success, dropping his first solo release as the 'Downpour EP' - following it up with a massive debut for Goldie's legendary Metalheadz imprint, the huge 'Leviathan/Mindfold' - soon followed by another EP for Moving Shadow, the 'Wasteground EP' - the title track being chosen by Grooverider to close out his much-appraised Fabriclive CD.
Larry's profile kept rising as he joined forces with fellow Moving Shadow artist Dom & Roland for a set of devastating collaborations ('Pneumatix'/'See The Light') - following it up with the 'Killa EP' - meanwhile, Metalheadz picked up even more of his tunes, firstly a collaboration with Kontrol on the MDZ.03 album and then a 2x12" release for 'headz in the shape of the 'Dark Nights' EP - featuring collaborations with Kontrol + OB-1.
Calyx is now set to increase his profile even further in coming years, firstly in the shape of his amazing debut album 'No Turning Back', a string of high profile productions and remixes - and setting up 2 brand new record labels, one with Norwegian prodigy Teebee and one with frequent-collaborator Kontrol.
