отчасти вышел. пока альбом получили только те, кто сделал предзаказ (в том числе я), на физических носителях он появится со следующего понедельника.

На физических носителях отправка будет наверное,если ничего не помешает,только на следующей неделе.
Сегодня получил официальное письмо с извинениями и обьяснениями ситуации.Бардак он и в Чехии бардак...

"I would like to personally write and apologise on behalf of Fish and Elspeth in the Fish Sales office for the delay in sending you the special edition of Feast of Consequences.

I have been on the front line of the printing issues associated with this for close to a month now. Many hours and days of my time have been spent trying everything I could to resolve it, resulting in my other work being seriously delayed and in a few circumstances I've lost commissions because of it.

After almost a year since I started work on 'Feast', the preparation of this 100 page book for Fish had been a fantastic experience. I was involved in every aspect of its design and together with Julie, my wife we have spent many months providing the illustrations.

We put our faith in a very large print corporation 'MPO' based in Europe who, we were told were the top specialists for this type of lavish production, they work for all the major record companies and will have, no doubt provided the print and binding for a lot of special editions you will have seen in the past few years.

The artwork was delivered - well ahead of schedule - 6 weeks before the planned delivery date. We were told at the start to allow at least 4 weeks! By the time you actually receive the special edition - it will have been 11 weeks since I supplied the artwork! This is totally unacceptable and Fish and I have challenged them almost every day to improve on their delivery forecast.

I even approached another print company to take the job on after 6 weeks of stalemate because we were so frustrated at MPO's lack of ability to deliver this project on time.

Every aspect of it's printing and binding has been late from day one. I personally had demanded to know why things were progressing so slowly on a daily basis after 3 weeks of inactivity. Unfortunately Fish was by then legally locked into a contract with MPO and we just had to ride it out!

In other words - Fish has had absolutely NO choice but to delay its release. NONE of this was what any of us wanted or expected would happen.

In 38 years of dealing with printers for the recording industry I have never ever experienced anything like this! MPO sub-contracted Feast out to a company based in the Czech Republic - called GZ - who have arrogantly refused to work any faster to catch up on the deadlines and haven't ever offered us an apology for their lateness!

If it is any consolation to you - there are a lot of people in the recording industry who have been made aware of GZ and who will now not put any business their way. This problem - our problem - is now very well known behind the scenes because we have made our feelings known to as many of them as we can!

I received my copy of the Feast special edition only yesterday (26th September). FINALLY! It looks fantastic and I am certain you will like it and appreciate the amount of time and effort that has gone into it. The whole print run is being delivered to Fish's office sometime today.

Elspeth and her team will be working tirelessly to get all the pre-orders out to you from Monday. So, hopefully they will all have been received by the end of next week!

It is horribly late and has had terrible repercussions for Fish as he has had none to sell on tour (a big part of financing the tour was based on these sales). The first reviewers of the album will not have seen the special edition so will not be able to comment on it…it is a PR mess it really is!!

All I can do is hope that when you do finally receive A Feast of Consequences, you will try and forget its difficult birth - and focus on the contents, which I could not be more proud of! Perhaps after a few weeks you might even forget how late it has been getting to you!

But if you do remember, try and reflect on why it was late, and how hard Fish and I worked for it to be delivered on time, but in the end, it really was beyond our control!
