Moon River and Other Great Movie Themes is an album by American pop singer Andy Williams that was released in 1962 by Columbia Records. It made its first appearance on Billboard magazine's Top LP's chart in the issue dated May 12 of that year and remained on the album chart for 176 weeks (the longest chart run of any of his albums), peaking at number 3.
The album received Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America on October 14, 1963, and thus became Williams's earliest recording to achieve this honor but not, however, the first to do so. His Days of Wine and Roses and Other TV Requests album, which was released in April 1963, received its Gold certification just one month prior to this one.
Moon River and Other Great Movie Themes was released on compact disc for the first time by Columbia in 1987. It was also released as one of two albums on one CD by Sony Music Distribution on May 15, 2001, the other album being Williams's Columbia album from February 1962, Danny Boy and Other Songs I Love to Sing.

Once, when some accordion players were at loggerheads on various accordions, models, brands and other things,
so that only accordionist can discuss such things, broke Lasse with a "Shall we play about it".
It is Lars Ek in a nutshell. The replica is now a classic.
It's the music on this record too.
In terms of music who long ago were marked by three of the most colorful accordion profiles that ever existed:
Nisse Lind, Pietro Frosini and Ragge Sundquist.
Lars Ek has many representatives.
If we subtract female audience's enthusiastic comments about the look and stick to the music, there will be,
among others .: an excellent technique, rhythmic balance and poignancy, a large serving good idea.
And what made the deepest impression on signed: an incredible sense of style!
Playing Lind, Frosini and Sundquist is enormously difficult. It is technically difficult, each comprehend, just listen.
But that capture the style is the hardest of all: to be constantly Lars Ek in every inch to simultaneously reproduce
the three other master's style and mannerisms without just simply aping, it is terribly difficult.
Playing Lind, Frosini and Sundqvist so that the three men contentedly nodding in his heaven while we are living today may face
a live accordion player who brings the old gods to life and at the same time is precisely what he is, namely, Lars Ek,
that is what is remarkable, delicate and funny has happened for many a long day in the accordion country Sweden.
I know, because I've heard all the other accordion discs also and can compare.
