Thanks so much for this SqueezeWRT! I was looking for a cheap squeezebox player and recently I buy an Airplay / DLNA player named "Sounmate M2". See the review here.

Soundmate M1 and M2 are very interesting because it is low cost, firmware source code have been released (see in drivers section of this page), this include SPDIF and analogic output...

I realise that soundmate M2 is based on OpenWRT.

Its probably not difficult to include SqueezeWRT but I'm a real newbe into OpenWRT firmware modifications... May be it's not mandatory to create a new firmware and I can just install a package into ?

SqueezeWRT inside these devices could be awesome !
Do you think it's possible ?


ps: have you ever integrate shairport into your firmware ? Or shairtunes2 can be easily enabled on SqueezeWRT ?
