По поводу предохранителей... есть мнение (не мое, буржуйское) что

"When connected directly in series with a loudspeaker, fuses are a known
source of thermal nonlinearity. At low frequencies, their resistances vary with
current to produce harmonic distortion. At higher frequencies, the thermal
time constant is such that they produce dynamic compression."

Но речь идет НЕ о сетевых.
Ну а "у нас" раз сказали влияет - то влияет везде
