I'd not listen to idler drives because they're so filled with rumble as to hide the nuance of music.
I'd not listen to new gear because its all a ripoff and nothing has changed since 1970.
I'd not listen to old gear because it sounds like icepicks since everything has changed since 1970.
I'd not listen to tubes because they're bloated and too warm and full of distortion.
I'd not listen to solid state because its cold and lifeless and measures good but sounds terrible.
I'd not listen to moving magnet carts because they're what non-serious people use, they don't capture the subtleties.
I'd not listen to moving coils because they have a falsely accentuated high end to trick audiophiles into thinking they're more detailed.
